William C. Deveneau, Esq. PLC (“WCD Law”) is a law firm with a limited practice that is focused on a only a few practice areas. It would be referred to as a boutique law firm opposed to a full service law firm. WCD Law is following an increasing trend among attorneys and firms to become the best at what they do, rather than just be good or OK at everything. We feel this is the best way to provide the highest level of service to our clients and the best outcomes.

We serve clients throughout Vermont, New York, and Massachusetts, in most of our practice areas. Additionally, through our tax practice, we serve clients in more than 15 states nationwide. Our tax practice is a federal practice and we are able to work with clients anywhere in the United States.

Our clients are individuals, businesses, and non-profits/exempt organizations. We work with businesses from startups to businesses that have been around for decades. We are only successful and reach our goals when our clients reach their goal.

Our goal is to be the firm our clients turn to in the future when they need advice, we are the trusted counsel or trusted advisor. Even if our current work with our client is a small, one-time matter, our ultimate goal is to begin forging a long-term relationship.
